The primary audio for Idle Audio (Color Theory) builds conceptually, and thematically on Post Modem Discourse. Originally conceived in 2008 as a Conceptual Art audio accompaniment to Idle Warship, my current body of work, Idle Audio (Color Theory) references the act appropriation in Hip Hop culture and of Hip Hop, the fluidity of religion, and the correlation of politics, "color theory", race, and ethnicity. These are the same themes being addressed in the visual artwork.

Musically, Idle Audio (Color Theory) repurposes samples from other sound-works. Thus continuing the use conversational audio, and images as metaphors. Most, if not all, sounds were copied and pasted into Cool Edit Pro, with a few samples punched in from a Gemini DS-824 sampler, or a Roland MS-1 sampler.
